Registration and Admissions Policy

In general we accept overseas students whose English is sufficiently advanced for them to learn alongside other pupils whilst they improve their English. However applications from able students whose English is not at this standard will always be carefully considered and we have experienced teachers who can provide additional language tuition if it is needed.

The school does not discriminate between applicants based on race, creed, physical ability or gender. Admission is based on either academic results previously obtained at another school and / or an examination administered by Battle Abbey School.

Overseas pupils applying to Battle Abbey School take an English Assessment Test, which if they are not visiting the school can be done online. We may also conduct a telephone or Skype interview if necessary, to assess their speaking level.
